It is a great pleasure for me to see that the Department of Immigration & Passports under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, is happily launching its own Website. In this age of information and communication technology, the necessity of a Website for this Department that has the widest public contact can hardly be overemphasized. Millions of passport-seeking Bangladeshi nationals and thousands of foreign nationals requiring visa and related services can immensely benefit from the information provided through this Website. I do hope that the Website will meet the long-felt demand of these service-seeking people for information and guidance related to passport and visa. I am sure that the Website will contribute to further strengthening the relationship between the clients and service providing officials f of this Department. I sincerely hope that the passport and visa applicants will make the best use of the Website and will be able to come in direct contact with the concerned officers using the information provided in the Website.
